Guest guest
Good question, I don't know. They were big though, do chrysthanthemum greens grow quite tall? They didn't come with flowers of course. It was like buying a bunch of spinach. I can't imagine why they wouldn't be the same. Found this: http://www.placergrown.org/jsp/pg/95.jsp (searched on " chrysanthemum greens " ) Garland Chrysanthemum greens are usually picked and eaten before the plant flowers. They have the appearance of a true garden chrysanthemum and are best cooked like spinach. The flavor is aromatic, much as a chrysanthemum smells. Coarsely chop it and add to Chinese-style soup. It can be a fragrant addition to stirfry dishes along with bamboo shoots, snow peas, bean sprouts, soy sauce and sesame oil - for a main dish, just add a little pork or chicken. Are these chrysanthemums the same ones you grow in your yard? I.e. can I grow them? -- Heidi
