I should rephrase: The actual industry does not care, as long as we are all on the same platform. Directive are just given to the perfumer, and they HAVE to work within these directives and so do the harvester, extractors, distillers, etc. It's like every one working with the same piano keyboard. The INDIVIDUAL that cares, is the old 'timer' working perfumer. He is the one restricted, knowing what was once possible. The new perfumer, just sees the current palette and works within those constraints. The advent of the computer facilitated that task of managing quantities and restrictions. History is a pendulum.
