Guest guest
Hi there, this is my first post and was wondering if someone could give me some good advice in regards to the following. I'm a complete newbie to natural perfumery too, but I love it. When I'm blending essential oils together I'm more often than not, happy with the results. They're nothing ground-breaking but I like them. I never venture beyond more than 4 or 5 materials used. Mostly cause I'm nervous. I use massage oil as a carrier and used the following in one particular blend: + Sandalwood + Vetiver + Rosewood + Ylang Ylang What I'd like to do is develop more of a heart accord. I thought something with ylang ylang was a good start but I'm not sure where to go from here. Do I just add (for example) rose oil to the entire creation? Or should I seperate my heart from my head and base, so-to-speak? lol
