Guest guest
With winter coming, the hose system isn't going to work! He's bought 2 black, plastic, freeze-proof basins that hold 6 gallons each. However, he knows that the ducks are going to jump in and out of the water, splashing a lot of it and almost certainly going to the bathroom in it. ------------> Hmmm...when i was younger (so I don't have a ton of detail to offer), we dug a trench from the house to the barn with a ditch witch and ran an insulated pipe out to the horses troph. I don't remember if we treated it any different in the winter as far as the hook up to the house and such, but I do remember we always had running water to the barn even in the winter. We ran our electricity through that ditch as well. My father did it in a short period of time, so it probably wouldn't be too difficult. _________________________________________________________________ See when your friends are online with MSN Messenger 6.0.
