I'm curious, in what location was the ginger grown? Which USDA

Hardiness Zone?

Zone 6, . We lost about 30 days growing time this season and we

got frost just before the bloom but this is some of the 'most

gingery' ginger I have ever tasted!

I used white and yellow ginger from the coop to start it. Bob

Shaffer, an organic ginger consultant of note, is speaking at our

conference the weekend of Nov 14 www.gardeningforthefuture.com

Did I imagine that a 'ginger beer' can easily be made?
