Guest guest
Hi, I just recently re-joined this group after quite a long time... it's nice to be back and thinking about doing some perfumery again! An acquaintance of mine gave me a recipe for an oil blend that had been available to us in the past but is no longer available now. It was a beautiful, unique scent, and I'd like to be able to duplicate it. Most of the ingredients are readily available, but one, lily of the valley, seems to be more difficult to find. Is this flower like lilac - hard if not impossible to extract? Or is there a source somewhere. Actually, I don't need an essential oil, if there's a recipe for an accord that comes close to the fragrance I think it would work. I'd looked through the posts here and wasn't able to come up with a definite answer on it. Thanks for any help you can give!
