Sorry to hear about your knee, . You are smart

to rest. A few years ago, I refused to rest when I was

sick and I ended up with terrible lingering illnesses

or phases of getting better but then getting sick

again in a few weeks - it is one reason why now when I

don't feel well (and I'm sleep deprived and TOM

fuzzy-headed, to boot) I'll take a rest day.

Oh, I loved your post about food - it is very

appropriate - thanks for writing it. I have a tip

also about deprivation. I'll tell by example - Peanut

Butter used to be my downfall, I could eat it by the

jar. The way I learned to control that was by

actually fitting it into my meal plan, now many

mornings a week I have peanut butter ahd whole grain

bread as part of my breakfast. I don't put a huge

amount on (it is organic, natural pb, but there it is

still a high fat food) but I put enough on to taste it

and since I have been doing that I've had ZERO

incidents of sitting down with a jar and a spoon. I

also have done that with chocolate - allow myself one

or two mini pieces. It is only when I get " guilty "

over it that i start to over-indulge.

Okay, gotta run. Just had to throw my two cents in!
