Benet M (the previous chief exec) asked this other person to enquire into your complaint. He has done so. You are not satisfied with his response. He has not responded to your particular complaints. You were specific. You expect a specific reply unless you are to conclude that " Bill Gates has autism " is the official position of the NAS. This will allow the new chief exec to poke around fruitfully in his organisation and use your complaint to tighten up training (if he wants to). If not the chair of Trustees is still available.
