Guest guest
Hi all If Lara's story echoes your own could I ask, on behalf of TA, you to consider if you might have time to email it to all national newsdesks and referencing the Independent piece. The Times, Daily Mail and Telegraph are usually particularly good spots. the Guardian (thanks to Bad Science) less so. Also Daily Mirror likes a good medical scandal, which is what this is, let's face it. It would be particularly valuable to have people who are on the spectrum and can write contacting them if they use biomedical. This is not a story about polar opposites and TA is not intended to be a rival organisation to the NAS. it would be great if this very high profile piece could create a head of steam for biomedical at this crucial time. Well done everyone - other than a couple of journalistic assumptions (hey, that's journalists) I think this is a great piece. TA does not have a dedicated press desk (perhaps we should get one!) but anyway, it means more coming from parents than an organisation.
