I see the endocrinologist at Loma next Tuesday to get the new blood

results for aldosterone/renin off of diuretic for two weeks. So still waiting on

all that, but in the mean time, I've had some joint pain for awhile now that has

gotten drastically worse over the last couple of weeks. Initially I thought pain

was due to low potassium, but I've been barely able to move and walk the last

two weeks. So primary dr ran some blood tests to check B12 and check for lupus,

rheumatoid arthritis etc.

All came back as normal except for the Antistreptolysin-O (ASO) Titer. It was

more than double normal according to lab, sorry don't have exact numbers in

front of me. I have no active strep infection, and no recent strep infection.

The last time I had a strep throat infection was as a teenager.

Anyone else had anything like this?? Dr is baffled as am I. She's having me

repeat the blood test in 3 weeks and if still high, she's referring me to a

rheumatologist.
