Guest guest
Hello gang, I have a 46 yo male patient who is a runner that is having chronic SI pain on his right side. He recently had a flare-up so I sent him out for an XR and the film shows a markedly widened joint space on that side as compared to the left. The radiologist (MD) called the left side normal. The radiologist and I both think some further imaging is indicated, but in the meantime what would you recommend as far as treatment? Would a trochanter belt help? He's an active guy and is getting stir crazy not being able to run without having a lot of pain the next day. Thanks, Brad A.
