Guest guest
Hi Ladies! I got the biggest shot of reality this week. Hopefully it leads to motivation. A coworker told me I looked like I hadn't been in a gym for three years. I've been crying since Thursday. I plan all the time and usually stick to a plan until it starts working, then fall apart and start self sabotaging. How can I stay focused? It seems the normal mind goo isn's working with me! Does anyone know of any software that can help you stay on track? My old trainer swore by the Body Bugg program, but I can't see paying for a system (much like I can't see paying a trainer...damn economy). What about any apps that work on the iPhone? Here's to starting my plan (again) for Monday (again).
Guest guest
Nice coworker NOT! Seriously do a self assessment, take a picture, do some soul searching. You need to take action for you not because of what some coworker said really tell 'em to pound sand. How can you stay focused? Well the only way in my opinion is if you are ready to make a change. You have to want it so bad you are willing to give up just about anything in your life. Personally for me this is the only time I see real results instead of the 5 pound dance thing (up 5 down 5). I make a contract with myself and read it every day this helps me stay on track. And for the record I've started my plan (again, and again, and again, and again) matter of fact I went on my first diet at age 13 and I am a nice 42 now so long long time of agains. But I can say things changed when I did body for life in 2004 I've kept it off and live the lifestyle every day some days a bit better then others but it is all about progress not perfection. You can do it!! Michele T ____________________________________________________________ Make the right POS decision. Sounds like he/she has some major issues being projected on to you. Well, as my grandma used to say " consider the source and move on " . Keep in mind that everyone struggles with procrastination, down days and lack of motivation. It's easy to assume that you are the only one that feels that way, but truly you are not. This board is a great support, especially on those days. You can do this. WE can do this. Keep posting, in 8 weeks you will not believe the person you have become. I want a picture of the co-workers face when you walk in to work in that sleeveless top. ))! Tami > ____________________________________________________________ > Make the right POS decision.
