An even easier solution is to hit 'reply all', which replies to both the

individual who posted as well as rheumatic , then delete

the individual e-mail address.

Hey folks,

For some reason I hadn't been getting most of the messages (but got some)

from the list over the weekend and into today, and today for some reason when I

was posting through the website, it barred me from sending to the list and as

default sent my messages to the author of the message I was replying to.

*Some* posts went to the list though, and, apparently randomly, many of them did

not.

So my apologies to those confused as to why I was emailing them directly, and

my apologies also to anyone who may have been waiting for a reply from me and

didn't get one, or who was interested in following a thread and missed one or

more of my posts within it.

If anyone asked a question or made a point I didn't respond to please just

make it again, or let me know privately, as I believe I've fixed the problem

now.

I suspect there is a problem with slow mail with the and

groups servers.

My address has not been receiving mail even though I sent it a

test msg today.

My guess is that other people are experiencing similar problems with

their email addresses and lists.

Hi Kathy...

I was having the same problem and finally got so frustrated that I just changed my subscription to individual emails.

I just wanted to say that MANY times a day I have problems either

reading or posting. More often than not, I will get a message that

there has been no activitiy for the last 7 days or that the forum

isn't available right now.

I read and post from the actual site. It is easier for me. I can often

see 5-6 new posts, but then only be allowed to open one before I get a

not available/no new posts message. If I keep trying I can usually

make it through the list.

Does this make me less likely to answer someone's questions? You

better believe it!
