Medicare or Nordian question

Does anyone else on this list server understand much on how being signed on with Nordian puts on at risk of giving all their bank account information for others to look at...In you bank account the bank has everything you do, buy, sell and so on and we just turn over any right to privacy to our Gov.. Now that we all know this let me tell you want I just learned that maybe many of you already know.

In the old days I use to bill medicare and they would send me a check, not much but more then what I would receive now. I did not have to sign up for anything and only out of courtesy for my patient did I bill for them, before that they billed their own insurance and paid me. We still have the right to do this by accepting or not accepting assignment on ALL insurance.. Even Medicare on line 27 of the paper 1500 form. We are allowed to collect everything that Medicare does not pay for from the patient if we are a non-provider... So far so good. We do not even have to do electronic billing through Ediss if we have less then 25 employees. However, now is where it gets sticky..

WE have a choice to see medicare patients or not... Once you sign on to medicare you are signed on for life. You can opt out, but we cannot see anyone over 65 that has medicare, even if they have other insurance... We cannot see a patient that we have been treating for years that turns 65, because now our Federal government basically owns them...If you get my drift. So, what are we forced to do so we can continue seeing our life long friend and patient we sign up to our government through medicare. I chose to be a non provider and to not accept assignment, however they told me that I need to fill out the 855-I form to start over. On this form it says it is "MANDATORY" that I have to send in a 588 form giving them ALL my bank account information again, even though under not accepting assignment all money will be sent to the patient. There will NEVER be any money going into my account from

Medicare...I was told that does not matter it is mandatory if I want to be am Medicare provider. UM, to me this is now invasion of my privacy for an insurance company, which is not much different then signing my name to the IRS 1040 form that says I give my right to pay them, as a private institution and force by Fed and backed by Gov to where if I do not they will send me to jail. OK, not quit the same but you again get my drift. I asked where does this bank account information go if I am not doing electronic billing, and I am not receiving any money from them.. They told me to the Government... I asked why and was told under the patriot act all information is suppose to be given..SOOO it really has nothing to do with billings and money for medicare it has to do with information about all of us. Are you comfortable about this, because I am not, especially for a lousy six treatments at $22

Does anyone out there know the constitution laws to tell me if this large government backed company has the right to force doctors to give up there private information under a sort of blackmailed situation?

I also received in the mail from Harley son a pre-approved Visa card, but all I had to do was give them as well all my private banking information as well. I asked the woman on the line where does this information go, who was busy telling me that it was a great opportunity at 0% interest for 15 months, at which time it would start a low 14% interest rate to tell stop and tell me where this information is being used. Why does this Harley son company needed all my bank account information...I finally got her to stop and face my question, her answer was, it is for our government... I said "WHAT" are you kidding and her reply was, "IT IS THE LAW under the "Patriot Act". Now please someone tell me how different is this when Medicare or Nordian is forcing or should I say intising all doctors to give up freely all their information that begins with this 588 form?

I will be anticipating all of your answers, from wow did not know that, to how I am just paranoid and into conspiroucy theory stuff. I know how the list server doctors are, I have been through this before and almost afraid to even voice my thought here.
