Last month or maybe 2 months back, Dr. Sunny Kierstyn and I did a radio program together about milk, mostly its negatives and alternatives, and what one might expect going off it. In the next month I have had people walk up to me at parties, in the grocery store and others send me plants thanking me for the ideas that helped them solve long standing problems like chronic joint pain, problems with allergies, skin trouble, etc. Unless I get feedback I don’t know if people are even listening, let alone thinking about what I say. Apparently, they do. Media is powerful, and hopefully, I don’t abuse it. There is so much power pushing everything else (drugs, MD’s, etc), that my little alternative opinions feel like a grain of sand on the beach. But for those people who were helped by that one program, it seems worth it. If you want to listen to it, go to coastradio.org and to listen on demand. My programs are listed with the public affairs programs. How I got lumped in with public affairs is a mystery to me, but it gives me more credibility in the line up (and double the pay, ha, ha. All the programmers volunteer). Ann Goldeen
