Hello All,

I have been taking my 25 mg spiro and have noticed I am sweating when in the

heat-so I seem to tolerate the heat a little better. I like sweating and it is

salty now, so I guess aldo is being blocked.

I am feeling more lethargic since taking the 240 mg diltiazem and am inclined to

stop it. My blood sugar feels like it is swinging more making these huge ups

and downs all day. There was a increase in lethargy before the spiro so I feel

certain diltiazem is the culprit.

For all your PA'ers that have trouble sleeping, go to the following website and

read about the correlation between aldo and obstructive sleep apnea.

This may be a good one to put in the files.

Dr. Grim, would welcome any comments you may have. I have thought about dc

diltiazem and increase spiro to 25 2x/day but afraid how Dr. K would feel about

me doctoring myself. My mom has some spiro that she was told to come off of so

I have enough-just don't want to see my helper go sideways, if you know what I

mean.
