Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I woke up this morning with a stiff neck, headache, stuffy nose and scratchy throat (this is nothing new, however, since DD was sick at the end of Oct I've had these symptoms on and off for several weeks - seems that they come around when I'm tired/stressed). Anyway, feeling like that, I was glad it was yoga day. I've decided not to add on the additional cardio on yoga days b/c I think my body needs a mid-week break from the P90X workouts. I didn't do my T-Tapp this morning and I should have b/c I think it would ahve " woken me up " alot faster. But, I did do Hemalaya's Yoga for Young Bodies Chakra Shaker section - I had previously done her Chill Vibe session on this DVD and enjoyed that one - Chakra Shaker is also quite good and invigorating, although it took me almost the entire 30 min session just to feel awake (T-Tapp's Primary Back Stretch would have probably sped that along...oh well!) Still feeling like I needed a boost I did Hemalaya's AM Quickie Routine from her Yoga for Urban Living DVD. This one is mainly sun salutations, but with some breathing and circular type movements to wake up - Chakra Vibe was similiar to this one, but a little more 'circular " and non-traditional. I hope to do Chill Vibe tonight, I'm expecting a monster day at work as this will be my last day in the office until the 28th. We'll see how it goes. I definately would pick up Yoga for Young Bodies if I saw it at a good price. I liked both practices and still have to do the bonus routines as well - there is one for couples, that I doubt I could ever get DH to do with me, but there is also another bonus for individuals. In the meantime, I'm glad my library has a copy! Take care! Donna ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
