Guest guest
I LOVE this idea ! Thanks for the suggestion on shoes too. Are these cross trainers? / the best running shoes I've ever owned Nike Air Zoom Vomero 2+ They are $140 new at the store, so what you do is try them on at your local Nike store and buy on Ebay. I got mine fore $62 that way. They are sooooooooooo cushy!!
Guest guest
No, these are for running My favorite cross trainers by Nike are no longer made (kind of like my favorite lipstick) and it is Max Air 60 or 61's are good to. Go on Ebay to find. There is a difference, and it's that running shoes are made to propel you forward and you rock front to back and there is more tread; cross trainers are made for lateral movement (step, kickboxing, cardio dance, pretty much any gym or workout video workout, though weight training you can wear either)I use running shoes for my bridge walks and just strolling about town. For working out I only use crosstrainers.HTH!
Guest guest
Oh darn, I was afraid I'd need two pairs of shoes each costing around $100. Well, I'm not planning to start trying to run until spring so I can save up for that pair anyway... thanks ! Guest guest
Yeah , good athletic shoes can be spendy, but try them on first to find your size and be sure they are comfy, then buy cheap online. Also, we have a Nike outlet store here where you can get them much cheaper too. They are usually the prior season's models. In the meantime I'm sure you can find a pair that will work til you get the one you want the most. I'm very fussy about my workout shoes only because I have multiple feet injuries.Hugs!
Guest guest
I have tricky feet too so I'm quite picky about shoes and am willing to spend to be comfortable. Never thought about trying them in person and then buying them online. Don't know why I never though about that but it sure makes the idea of buying two pairs a lot more palatable. Thanks for the idea ! Re: / the best running shoes I've ever owned Yeah , good athletic shoes can be spendy, but try them on first to find your size and be sure they are comfy, then buy cheap online.
