Guest guest
Dr Siff and Supertrainers, I am currently assisting two of my professors with examinig and doing research on lifting techniques (not weightlifting, but functional movement) and bending in children. We are looking at the biomechanics and motor development of children ages 1-6. We have not yet begun any testing, but are preparing and planning the research. Has anyone seen any formal research on this topic or know of any literature that I could read concerning children and lifting and bending both from a biomechanical and developmental standpoint? [Have you searched through any texts and articles on ergonomics, because there is a *huge* amount of literature on lifting in the workplace and daily life? Mel Siff] Thanks for your help and future input!
