Guest guest
Donna you're inspiring me to do P90X someday . Yay on feeling doms from Tony and the Kids! I need an upper body workout for Friday, maybe I'll pick somethng from P90X. I like Kundalini too. It's so different from Hatha, and it may be the " original " yoga igf memory serves correctly. Glad that someone else gets the tinglies from it besides me! T'ai Chi also has that effect on me. Need to do more T'ai Chi. Hmmm.. Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile Monday - Turbo Jam - Kick, Jam & Punch (or whatever order that title is in...) Hi, I'm super sore from the p90X workouts I did yesterday. My upper body is fried from the push-ups and back work - mostly my chest, but definately shoulders and triceps as well. My lower body is equally fried from doing legs workout from legs & back. The legs & back workout always gave me sore legs - I don't know what it is, b/c only a few exercises use weights. with all the lower body soreness, I figured I'd skip Plyometrics for today and do it, or another interval workout on Friday. So, I did kickboxing today - but I felt like " fun " kickboxing - not just drills, so TJ was in order. I did Kick Punch & Jam (or whatever the order is in that title) which may be my favorite TJ workout since it is more athletic and includes that lovely capoierera (sp?) section at the end. I only wish that section were longer, I wonder why Chalene threw in a 5 min section with tubing in this workout? Weird. But I stretched on my own while they did their thing with the tubing. It feels good to be this sore again. I can see how the P90X Classic Rotation must tear you up b/c I think Chest & Back shows up every week. I guess if I ever do this rotation again, I will do the Classic version since the only way to get good at push-ups is to do them. I'm in awe of the lady in this workout - she pretty much matches the guys on the push-ups and does them on her toes. Yikes! Also, that cutie Bobby son is in this workout - although I really didnt' watch him much as I was cursing Tony too much. I didn't get yoga in last night, by the time everyone was in bed I wanted to sit with a book. I'm really obsessed at the moment with Kundalini yoga - I guess that one session I did last week sparked my interest in it again - it is just so different from the yoga I normally do and I just love the " alive " feeling it gives me - so for me, it is great to do in the morning. I may do Kundalini this week on my yoga day (Wednesday). It is all I can do to restrain myself from buying more Ravi and Ana DVDs, but I know I have plenty of yoga workouts already, and sadly, I don't get to my yoga workouts very often due to time constraints. I really would like to get more sessions in a week - it would mean some evening practices but maybe I can start with 1 or 2 a week, keep them short and go from there? Hey, a NY resolution! Anyway, sorry to go on. I did do T-Tapp Primary Back Stretch to warm up. And, speaking of backs, I think I found a major reason why mine is kinked up all the time - it is my darned dog - she has been sleeping on our bed at night - mostly on my side (I usually go to bed later, so she is already there when I try to get in!) and I think it is causing me to scrunch up too much. My back is always killing me when I wake up - and I'm pretty sure it is her b/c when DH gets up super early for work (like today) she moves to his side and I can stretch out and I feel so much better. I guess I'll have to banish her to the dog bed. She really is such a sweetie though! Anyway, take care! Guest guest
Hi , Hmmm...I have to do Tai Chi more, as well. That is actually one category that I don't have a whole lot of DVDs for. I'm embarassed to say I may need to go to a third book to store everything. Isn't that awful? And, I have a big pile of virgins, but I want more.
