Stacey - running

hi,

I used to run - mostly in high school and college -

but on and off as an " adult " too - and loved it. I'm

not sure if my body could handle it now, but I'm sure

willing to try again. Maybe this fall I can start if

DD goes off to Kindergarten and I'm still

telecommuting - I can take a mid-day break from work

and go for a run - ah, that would be awesome. I used

to love having the time w/ my own thoughts.

A friend of mine runs - she is amazing, she pushes a

jog stroller with her 4 year old son in it (my

daughter would not sit still, I'm sure - I guess it is

what they're used to b/c she has taken her son running

since he was a baby) and often takes her dog

(lab/rottie mix) with her. Maybe once we have both of

our kids in school we can become running buddies as

well as playdate friends - although I'm sure she'd

beat the pants off me if she was unfettered by dog and

stroller! Her son will be a year behind my DD in

school (if I send her next year) since he is a Nov

baby and the cut off is Sept 1st (My DD makes it in w/

an August b-day)

Maybe I can try for a 5K in 2009!!

Take care,

Donna
