Guest guest
Dear Dr Grim,In preparation for seeing a new Endo on the 29 July, my GP gave me this snapshot of information for me. The creatine scores you commented on recently as `holding' however, I have now been able to add in Na and K. Drug regime remains 75mg spiro and 20mg enalapril. BP today from the GP 135 / 94 on one take and no preparation. Enalapril for Left Ventricular Hypertrophy. A letter from the local hospital only mentions aldo and renin in this sentence: "Synacthen test (short) was sub-optimal with 30 minute cortisol only rising to 490 and he has elevated aldostereone but without a suppressed renin." Would hope for a more thorough analysis from my new Endo next week (different hospital as well). Na K Creatinine Dec. 2008 140 4.9 130 umol/l (60-129U) Sept. 2008 143 4 119 umol/l (60-129U) April. 2008 140 4.5 105 umol/l (60-129U) Jan. 2007 137 4.8 124 umol/l (66-102U) Dec. 2006 138 4.2 135 umol/l (66-102U) Oct. 2006 140 4.1 124 umol/l (66-102U) What would you expect a new Endo to say or do based on this data?
