I remember you saying you can't take CLO because it makes you sleepy. Did

you also say it makes you gain weight?

In light of what I just posted on AA and EPA, it would seem, barring some

other clearer explanation, that you have an accentuated response to EPA in

regard

to inhibition of AA.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing, in that the hormones they regulate are

supposed to be cyclical. AA enhances the hormones that are supposed to be

higher in the daytime, and EPA enhances the hormones that are supposed to be

higher

in the night time. (hence the sleepiness).

If you were gaining fat with CLO it would seem you just have too much omega-3

and shouldn't take it. But if you were just getting sleepy, it seems it

would make sense to focus on getting meat fats during the day, and taking CLO

before bed. After all, who wouldn't want to be sleepy before bed?

I didn't take it long enough (or observe closely enough) to tell.

This is a very interesting idea -- thanks. I think I will try it as a

sleep aid, because as I've mentioned here before, I don't sleep especially

well and I tend to twitch and thrash around (though frankly I think that's

a result of consuming dairy, which is why I've got to make enough sausage

to try going dairy-free for awhile) so maybe this would work.

I wish I had some CLO on hand, but I'll try to pick some up in the next

couple days and see how it works as a sleep aid. I'll report back.

Thanks again for the idea! I don't think the exhaustion I get from CLO is

a healthy type of sleepiness, but maybe it would be OK at night.
