Guest guest
Give them you new family history and ask what they think. Some autonomic problems run in families as well. CE Grim MDHello all, it has been a long time since I've posted. My last couple of visits to the Mayo had my Aldo within normal ranges, altho renin is still low (except it was high once while I was very dehydrated). My 19 year old son, who is in the army, had high blood pressure reading at his last doctor checkup, even after sitting and they had him doing deep breathing to relax. Now this young man is probably in the best physical shape he will ever be in, so it is not because he is overweight. I have never been checked for GRA and now am wondering if I should? What do you think Dr. Grim? My history is in the files if you need to refresh your memory of my story.I have hyperadrenergic autonomic dysfunction, which is now what they (the docs at Mayo) attribute the hypertension to. My last autonomic tests showed a marked worsening so I have to go back down to the Mayo in November. Wondering if I should ask about GRA? or maybe other hereditary reasons....Thanks for your input.Kim in MN
