Guest guest
Hello. I have a patient who had an auto accident while at work and SAIF is the carrier. Her MD gave her a 12 visit perscription and now that the 12 has passed she filled out an 827 with my office. Do I know theoretically get 18 visits over up to 2 months. Also IAm not on SAIF panel so they could pull the network card? Otherwise is it possible to either use PIP or wait till it settles with a lien?Sincerly,Elliott Mantell DC No, ASHN contracted doctors and any other doctors who are on panel of various PPOs such as ASHN can opt out by letter from these “silent PPOs†the letter is sent to the auto PIP carrier not ASHN and once done PIP carriers must pay the full workers’ comp fee schedule……Vern Saboe ----- Vern Saboe, Jr, DC., DACAN., FICC., DABFP., FACO. 915 19th Ave SE Albany, OR 97322 phone: e-mail: vern@... website: www.drvernsaboe.com From: oregondcs [mailto:oregondcs ] On Behalf Of AboWoman@... Could this be the problem? Or is it even less than ASHN pays? Minga Guerrero DC abowoman@... Geico reducing PIP claim to 80% Hi All: Did I miss something? I received payment on an MVA patient today who is covered by GEICO and they only paid 80%. Anyone have the re asoning behind this? Do I have to accept this reduced amount?
