Guest guest
I called the NPA and spoke with Cara Welch, PhD, the NPA's scientific and regulatory affairs manager. They did not have any natural perfumers on their committee, but were consulted by Trilogy Fragrances (Citrus and Allied) . . . I'm going to look them up after I write this. They stand firm on their position that even if a fragrance comes from a natural source, such as a rose, if the method of extraction is not natural it cannot be used in their certified products. That effectively eliminates most natural perfumes. Maggie
