Guest guest
One thing that doesn't get thrown around this list for digestion too much is... ginger. I find eating raw ginger or making a tea out of minced fresh ginger (steeped for 20 minutes) to be great for digestions, and also seems to kick a stomach bug quick. , have you tried that? I've been using it a lot. I'm just waiting for to tell me its an estrogen (I hope not!). Speaking of digestion, pancreatin seems to be one of the most important things. Now this is just derived from the pancreas, right, hence the name? Does anyone know how concentrated it is, and therefore how much raw pancreas you'd have to eat to get the same enzymes? I didn't save the pancreas when I slaughtered a lamb last time cause I couldn't figure out where it was, but I'm definitely going to make sure I know for next time. If pancreas could sub for pancreatin, that could mean saving a LOT of money. Chris

Ginger is WONDERFUL for stomach issues. -- Heidi
