Jo,

Do you get a rash right after eating dairy, or does it take days of

consistently eating it? Do you have a problem with butter? It is

promising that animal fats don't give you a problem.

Kefir doesn't give me any mucus problem. No fermented dairy products

give me a mucus problem- only unfermented cows products do. I didn't

notice anything with unfermented goats milk.

I still wonder if the rash was from dairy- I bought a few new pairs

of pants around the time the rash appeared (same pants, just

different pairs), and wore them directly after buying them without

washing first. I am not a person with many allergies whatsoever- but

one of the only ones I know of is regular laundry detergent. This

will give me small bumps on my arms/legs. The rash (which was only on

my legs- just bumps, no itching or redness, similar to what I get on

my arms from detergent) started going away around the time my pants

were washed in natural detergent.. it could have been a reaction to

the pants since I wore them " directly " from the manufacturer. My

grandmother actually pointed this out to me today.. she has similar

skin reactions as I do.

Nonetheless, my (facial) skin didn't seem to be as clear at the time

I was eating the dairy. I guess I will find out whether I am

sensitive to dairy with trial and error :)
