Hi Diane,

Thanks for the reply! Someone at work told me about P90X.. to tell you

the truth though, I prefer going to gym. My understanding is that you

can watch the videos to see what the exercises are and then do them at

the gym but that some, the video is required(??) If that's the case, I

don't see it working for me. I'd like to say that 'yeh I could work

out at home' but after a few years, I've grown out of wishful thinking

;) I wish I had the motivation to do this stuff at home though!

I don't drink a " huge " amount but my work schedule (4 on, 4 off), make

it that I'm never drinking the same days or have my cheat days the

same day.. makes it hard to plan.

Losing 20 lbs is awesome! nice work! I'm trying to go down to

125-130lbs. I've always been around 145 lbs.. I was probably around

138 lbs pre-march of 08. I suffered a rotator cuff injury and then

totally slacked off working out. I think it was a combination of

injury, lack of motivation (bored of my workout) and crappy gym.

I've now recovered from my injury (6 months of therapy), dumped the

crappy gym (got myself a real nice one) and got myself a new workout.

Hi Eve,

I am a fairly new addition to this group (6 months, maybe?) I would love to hear

about your workouts, I am doing BFL myself but I modified it somewhat and I am

always interested in what other people do. So post away!

Subject: haven't been around in years but...

Hi all,

I haven't been around the forum in a number of years now. I did BFL

years ago, completed what I wanted to a achieve and never looked back.

The reason I'm back is, I'm trying to lose 10-15 lbs and need support.

I have a new job, mostly working night shift and I've been drinking

more. I've managed to change my habits slowly but surely. Alcohol is

still a big issue - I don't drink much of it at home except the glass

of red wine at home every few days but going out is harder.

This is the best support group out there. I've had a chance to browse

the internet for years on fitness websites and this group still tops

it all.

I'm not doing the BFL workouts, mainly because I need to tweak things

for work a bit but I am doing a lower body and upper body workout and

at least 20 minutes of HIIT on the off days. I am doing the BFL way of

eating.

I still have my recipe book and thanks to 's review of " Gourmet

Nutrition " , I got that one as well (great BFL-like recipes for those

who haven't checked it out)

As of last week, I was 144lbs (I'm 5'4 " and 31), moderate activity 4

days of the week and then lighter on my 4 days off.

As of this morning, I was 150 lbs -- yep, I had my morning freakout

and then realized its that time of the month.

I had taken a habit of not weighing myself after BFL -- I bought into

the muscle weighs more than fat and as long as your clothes fit

looser. Well my scale hasn't died on me and decided to give me an

extra 5 lbs. I think it's water weight, my clothes don't really feel

bigger except in the usual spots that come with 'that' water weight.

Do people mind if I post my current workout? I don't want to interfere

with people doing " BFL " workouts so I get it if you don't want me to

post it here. I'd just like folks to critique it.

Thanks!

Eve
