Dear All,

Sara just said she would re-join the NAS which I think is a great idea and I too have come to the same conclusion.

I have thought a lot about this situation and the letter in the last few days (Sorry wasnt involved much in the early drafting satges, has been terribly ill for the past 8 days)..... And I really just wanted to say a huge thanks to Zoe especially and to Alison, cos representing the NAS in a group like this, where there are strong feelings cannot be easy.

I think its really great that you guys are working from within the NAS and lets face it if you step back, we want the same thing, better services for the people we love with autism and better undersatnding.

Now the way we go about achieving that differs, lets face it AUTISM differs big time. We are all individuals with our own opinions. I respect others opinions and I am interested in what other people think even if its not what I think.

Obviously on this list and in Treating Autism, we believe firmly that Biomedical Treatments are essential for our kids. But you know I also think that people are not being evil when they dont share my opinions, its lack of knowledge, lack of evidence and at Treating Autism we want to work in many ways to get the message out that Autism is Treatable.

I welcome open discussion and debate and I'd like to ask Alison or Zoe if it would be possible for me to come and meet with people from the National Autistic Society, the NHS, anywhere and discuss biomed, bowel issues (as you know a very favourite subject of mine).... Would you try to arrange this.

Treating Autism are a credible organisation and working together is the way forward, things will change but it is slow. We want to change the face of Autism all of us, if this letter serves to make the NAS or other people aware that Treating Autism is possible it will have done a great job.

Thanks to everyone for such open debate, this is a great list, and your support and input, is very personally valuable to me, tahnks again and have a great day.

Luv N Flowers
