Guest guest
They could just stick to Pubmed research which would all have been peer reviewed and published. Some research is more important than other bits. My brother did a dig through the learned journals and pulled out what he thought were the significant studies of the last 10 years. Even with a high proportion of them just one page abstracts, he got a pile a foot high. Some studies are incomprehensible.Even the abstracts. But a list of significant studies published in major journals and peer-reviewed could be very useful. I guess you would need a brains trust group to agree " significant " (would it include the Geiers studies for instance -- hotly criticised but according to my brother " good science " ). A disclaimer to say " publication of a study on this list does not carry the endorsement of RA or any recommendation for treatment " If this is a good idea, could someone else sign into RA and suggest it. I've made one suggestion already and I think they may recognise me if I try any more. xx Sally Alison Pope wrote: > > “I don't understand why they don't list all research that's published > but make it jump through another set of hoops” > > Sally, this is a simple but effective idea.
