Guest guest
1. Did anyone see this month's Shape magazine? There's a girl doing clean and presses in it. With 3 pound dummbbells. 2. I made the Eating For Life pumpkin cheesecake last night. It's waaay too good to be waistline friendly. When I come in here complaining that I gained 10 pounds in 2 weeks, you'll know what to blame. Guest guest
I read one time, I think in Oxygen, that these photo shoots are so long and arduous (and repetitive) that the models couldn't possibly be posing with the real weights they're capable of lifting. So, they take the pictures with very light weights, which they can lift over and over and over again. It may also be that they don't want to put off their readers by intimidating them with heavy weights. However, I also think Shape is one of those magazines that seems to have models who are more skinny than strong, so they may be encouraging workouts of 200 reps with a 3 pound weight! Lorraine > > 1.
