So Did the Art and Andy mean all the way from Oesophagus to Rectum (in the Gastrointestinal Tract only) could be inflamed or other organs too, eg bladder, cos I have oft wondered if this is what the frequent urination stuff is about in ASD kids, and I think it was who mentioned this to me too. So bladder inflammation, the same mecanisms.... Very interesting ideas. Looking forward to all your feedback from Atlanta, not sure if you have done this already as I havent been that much on the list cos Becks been so very ill. Good trip back Caroline x
Guest guest
Caroline, Sorry to hear has been unwell, hope she is picking up now. From what I've seen in Katy,I think this inflammation is throughout the body. When Katy's tummy is really off ,we have seen on occassions visual problems ,red and pussy eyes ,headache, itchy skin, urinary symptoms, light stools, asthma ,pneumonia and have even had elevated liver enzymes when she has been particularly poorly. All these symptoms have definitley followed on from a sore gut,and the severity of symptoms depend on how bad her gut is.When her tummy is reasonable we have very little symptoms. Love to and you, Sharon.xx > > > > It isn't going to be called Autistic Entercolistis for much longer - > getting a new name because its nb ot just n the colon its all the > way through, Andy andarthur said yesterday they are still batting > around ideas for a new name > > > > MAndi x > > DEAR MANDI, > > I didnt quite understand this message, but then heh if you are in > Atlanta, and I know Conferences, you could well be under the > Influence of a few wee Vino Collapsos, hopefully wink wink..... > > So Did the Art and Andy mean all the way from Oesophagus to Rectum > (in the Gastrointestinal Tract only) could be inflamed or other > organs too, eg bladder, cos I have oft wondered if this is what the > frequent urination stuff is about in ASD kids, and I think it was > who mentioned this to me too.
