Obviously it has gone bad, but can anyone tell me why?

Hi Margit:

Your rose otto is totally fine. In fact, a good test for rose

otto is to chill it and see the results you got! Butch has

written on this extensively, and you can search the archives for

more info about this phenomena.

Margit,

Can't tell you how many of us may have in the beginning thought this same

thought. It is good Rose Otto. Keep storing it as you have and it will be

good for a long time.

Hello Margit,

I can tell you from much experience with Rose Oils that Steam Distilled Rose

Otto will crystallize at room temperature…that is if your room temp is at 72 or

below. Yes Rose Otto will crystallize at that high of a temperature.

Put a small portion of that waxy like crystal substance on your arm you will see

is melt immediately. You will also smell like Roses the rest of the day. ;)

I have personal stock of Rose Otto dating back to 2003; if anything it has

improved with age.

Enjoy, Take time to smell the roses,

Croskey

Hi

Thanks a lot to you all for your kind answers. It was an expensive oil, so I was

really worried. Now I am happy again!- and I will try putting it on my arm!

Best regards,

Margit Nesland
