Guest guest
Does anyone have some advice for working with concretes? I would like to use them for my oil perfumes. I love that they are very intense in odor and could save me money. I tried warming jasmine gf then infusing it in warm fractionated coconut oil. I ended up with goo. Lesson learned from that was a just fraction of an amount of concrete will scent a 1/2 ounce bottle. Will I need to strain the oil? Even so, after filtering will my compositions contain wax floaters or turn semi solid if cold? Am I going about this all wrong? I noticed some concretes are much harder than others. Gallica rose: hard as a rock, jasmine: soft. I suppose heating just the amount I need each time will soften them but will it degrade the concrete? Sorry for all the questions. I looked all over the internet for info. Thank You, -Kait
