for sure check pubic shear dysfx like in Phil Greenman's book Principles of Medicine. I used to be the DC for a ballet company and that was a regular clinical finding esp for female dancers/athletes. #1 standing flex test, #2 if postive what side goes superior at psis? check that side with patient in supine useing your sighting eye is that pube inf or sup [footward/headward] that is the side you want to treat it will be more tender on the superior aspect of the pube on the dsfx side [REMEMBER THE BOUNDARY ISSUES COURSE GUIDELINES!] MET works great try the specific tech before the shogun. I can fax you that section of the book if you want it Kahn DC Eugene

13 year old girl who loves dance class.Atheletic, healthy as a pin.Groin muscles are as tight as....piano wire.Much worse on the left. Fabre test finds Faber has left medicine to open a microbrew pub in Boston.Ok, before he left, he reported generalized pain throughout left thigh but not SI joint (mostly seeming like overused/worked/stretched groin muscles).Hip compression negative for arthritis/joint inflammation.Typical kid, she doesn’t localize well.Bowel and bladder function OK.Adjusting SI joints and hips on drop table.Encouraged them to try a series of treatments (12).Funny how we are shy about trying chiropractic but we hear every day about a medication being “tried†for a month or more many times don’t make sense at all (all together now: PREDNISONE!)I told them to get the heck off dairy

and ditch the glutens. They are “trying†so I quoted Yoda and said, “No Try. Do or Do Not.â€I told them that when you are actively inflamed, it’s like getting a sun burn and you get in the shower at very low temperature and it feels like it’s boiling.Similarly, a cookie will keep a active gluten intolerant person inflamed from the colon to the fingers.Any ideas would be welcomed, although as usual may be subject to ridicule if you ask dorky questions like, “Have you checked her SI joints?â€Thanks!-- E.
