Guest guest
Dear colleagues, Today was the first day of public comment for the proposed administrative rules for the coming Coordinated Care Organizations. There are three key issues that we must give input into the Oregon Health Authority immediately. 1. That chiropractic and naturopathic physicians and nurse practitioners (part of our CAM coalition) can act in the capacity of primary care providers. Point being we do not want the chiropractic profession to be boxed into musculoskeletal conditions only. 2. “Network Adequacy” we need rule language that defines what an adequate CCO network of all providers is we don’t want the CCOs having token numbers of DCs within their network. 3. Reimbursement we want to be paid the same or more for the same service more if our outcomes show superior quality and performance. Attached are suggested email templates for issue number 1 DCs as primary care providers… use this templates as a guide only please don’t copy them verbatim put your little twist on the language then send your email comment to: cheryl.peters@... Make sure you print off the attached templates to give to your colleagues, patients, friends, family..etc. Patients had a lot of fun doing this last time in my office with their smart phones. GET STARTED WE HAVE VERY LITTLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! To the continued good fight, Vern Saboe, DC…questions?
