Guest guest
Boy this is an odd one...very strong smell that seems to change on the skin almost immediately. From India with an interesting little religious history that makes it the " cursed flower " , but also is supposedly used in flavoring sweets, in the hair, etc. (its India, what can you say?!). Liberty is a source, and there are a zillion sites listed that appear to be more directly from India, but with the reputation those typically have I am wary (of the oil being adulterated, etc.). Anyone have experience with this EO?

Hi , I bought some of this a little while ago and wasn't quite sure what to do with it. I have not tried it on the skin so will do that shortly. I think Anya has a perfume that uses Kewda. Maybe she can offer some suggestions. Jane Hi! As you might guess from my ID, I love Kewda/Kewra (Pandanus), for a number of reasons. I love the scent alone, but mostly I love the high tone it creates in perfume blends. I use it quite often actually, (in very minute quantities)to highlight and raise my top notes. I feel it works best with green and floral scents, but experimenting with it fun, as long as you don't use too much. Pre-diluting it with alcohol may be the best way to go at first. If you have these oils, try blending this simple fresh test accord that I really love. You can elaborate on it in many different directions: 2 ml Himalayan Cedarwood 1 ml Patchouli (aged in best) 2 drops Kewda (undiluted) -RuhKewda >
