Has anyone found any essences that, when blended with the black currant bud abs, cancel out or alter the sulfur-y-ness? > > Felicia Hi Felicia, Black Currant is a very strong aromatic so you really only need a very tiny bit. I haven't tried this myself yet but I'm assuming blending it with other fruity aromatics will help. Also, Eden is carrying a Black Currant Concrete now. I haven't tried it but maybe it's more mellow? It works beautifully building a violet accords and other creative blends. I have used it combining cassie absolute, violet leaf, galbanum, vanilla, tuberose, blood and wild orange, cocoa absolute and building leather and musk accords. I hope this helps! Really it is up to your nose to do the exploring with it as I have found with minute amounts it has glorified all kinds of oils. I first got some as a sample, and after I smelled it at first I thought it was something I would never actually purchase, much less use. Until I started fooling around with it, with other essences, on paper, seeing how it combined with other things, then I saw its beauty....
