Hi all,

I have developed a small red bumpy rash on my arms and top of my hands where I

am applying absolutes, etc. I think it is possible that they aren't diluted

enough. Have any of you experienced this before? I run out of skin to try

scent on! I have stopped putting anything on my skin until this clears up. I am

very new at this.

Also I was wondering if genet broom is something any of you have experience

blending. I love the smell and wonder what blends well with it?

Best to all,

Stefanie

Hi Stefanie:

The rash is definitely from the absolutes. When I first got

jasmine absolute about 35 years ago, I slathered it on my wrists.

Yow! Itching, red bumps, etc. Kept doing it too, because it was

temporary,LOL, and I figured I could take it. Didn't start

diluting until the 80's, after reading aromatherapy books.

I rarely give recommendations for " what blends with what " . I

think those lists are malarkey. You have to experiment and make

the decision yourself.

PS but everybody knows rose, jasmine and sandalwood are the holy

trinity ;-)
