Can tincture be used as a perfume?

Hello all,

I'm a handmade soap maker from India. I've got least knowledge on perfume

making.

I've recently started extracting aroma from plant material using 99% ethyl

alcohol.

I've tried with Jasmine, Vanilla beans, and coffee beans.

It smells great inside the bottle and on the body, but, the smell doesn't get

thrown into the air.

It's not strong enough.

Any suggestions on improving the strength of the perfume?

Can this technique be used for perfume making?
