Depends why you are avoiding them? I use Tinkyada rice noodles ...

made from enzyme treated brown rice, no gluten. Still

high in carbs, which can be a good thing or not,

depending on your philosophy.

Pasta isn't terribly high glycemic though. It is high

in calories, which again can be a good thing, or not!

I'm only trying to determine the best kind of noodle to have for those times

when I have them. I don't have any health reason for avoiding gluten or

anything else. I like making Lo Mien and I usually use regular spaghetti

noodles. Plus I make something with pasta for dinner about once a week.
