Guest guest
Docs here is an idea for this Thurs and Friday in your office: Since we did not get many new signatures in last 24 hours, we are hovering at just over 100. So, print up the online letter (found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDdqMjlQY2lScXdMTUxrTWhpSjh\ JbHc6MQ#gid=0 ) and put it on a clip board at your front reception. Have a second sheet underneath for signatures. Give folks the 10 second summary of the letter and then ask them if they will join you in signing to protect equitable and fair access to chiropractic care in future. Then at end of day, simply type in the (10, 20, 30 or more?!) names manually on the online form. But don't forget to enter the names because I am forwarding all names and letter to Ms. s on Sat. morning. > > Dear colleagues, > > Thanks for posting your comments please, please continue to do so we have but five days until the public comment period ends on July 22 post TODAY. Now many of you have questioned the response you have received back from Ms. Cheryl s the CCO admin rules coordinator, her message usually thanks you for your comment that she will pass your comments on to the appropriate person. The connotation is you sent it to the wrong person you have not Cheryl is the initial contact and then she sends them on to the correct other staffer that documents you comments for the public comment summary later.....so don't let this response throw you Cheryl s is the correct person to send you emails. With that said here again is her email send you comments today to; Cheryl.perters@... > > Here again are the three issues: > > 1. CCO member-patients must be able to select a chiropractic physician, naturopathic physician or nurse practitioner as their primary care provider. > > 2. Network Adequacy, must be defined. We support language that would state, " Network adequacy means that a CCO has sufficient numbers of health care providers from all the health care professions so that CCO member patients can select the health care provider of their choice without undue waiting periods or other restrictions. " > > 3. Varying reimbursement rates, shall only be based on that health care providers quality and performance and cannot be based solely on that health care providers area of practice or discipline. > > > Cheers, > > Vern Saboe > > ----- > Vern Saboe, Jr, DC., DACAN., FICC., DABFP., FACO. > 915 19th Ave SE > Albany, OR 97322 > phone: > e-mail: vern@... > website: www.drvernsaboe.com<http://www.drvernsaboe.com/> >
