Guest guest
Any idea what a patient might need to get a portable EMS unit through airports and customs?I have a patient who is traveling to India on a Fulbright Scholarship to teach for about 6 months.I'm writing up a formal letter of 'medical necessity'.I have described the clinical need for this unit.I have also described the components of the unit in its carrying case. She doesn't look 'dangerous' (whatever that means) but the unit and all the wires might raise some eyebrows. If you have any experience with writing such a letter or have any thoughts, I'm all ears. Many thanks as always,Ann DC
