Guest guest
I have a patient whose treatment for MVC-related injury was interrupted by a move to Pendleton where she landed a nursing job. She was not medically stationary at that time. She is also pregnant--second trimester. She shared that her OB-GYM describes her pregancy as 'high risk'--she is 37 and overweight. Front end collision. Concussive injury, head hit driver's side vanity mirror and broke it. Airbag also deployed.Persistent headaches. Tried to set up a neuro consult for her, but ran into the "pre-pay/deposit" required by specialists. Patient was unemployed and said she could not pay the deposit.Anyone? Please contact me asap. Happy to fax records which include cervical X-rays (3-view + flex/ext).X-rays revealed marked loss of lordosis as well as a lower cervical reversal/kyphosis. Otherwise, just the usual 'hypomobility' issues. No DDD/DJD.Ann DC
