This is the study which is recruiting now which will test minocycline on

the inflamed brains. If you stick minocycline into Google it is an

antibiotic which for some reason no one understands also reduces

inflammation.

another really interesting way to research this is to put Tumour

Necrosis Factor Alpha and autism into Google. TNFalpha is an

inflammatory cytokine. It's not the one Hopkins found but it is

found causing trouble inappropriately in all sorts of places in autism.

It is also found in Crohn's where they use soluble heparin and

infliximab (very new and expensive) to deal with it. These are now the

standard treatments for Crohn's and they work.
