Guest guest
Hi All,FYI at Minga's suggestion I wrote to Dave McT. at the board and his response is included re: using magnets. I'm still not convinced in the efficacy and I appreciate the feedback I received. I'm going to use the LL Laser I paid to much for a while ago and see if that helps. Magnets are not prohibited for use by chiropractors. However, it would be inaccurate for anyone to represent that the Board has “approved” the use of magnets. (7/27/00) Dave McTeague, Ex. Subject: Magnet Therapy Hi Dave, I'm writing to you at Minga Guerrero DC's suggestion after I posted a question on the ODC list serve, regarding magnet therapy. Could you or the board clarify if using magnets is allowed under our scope. I understand that the board has rightly prohibited multi-tiered marketing and that issue had been associated with prescribing magnets. Without the multi-tiered marketing can we use magnets? Thanks for your time and good work.
