Guest guest
My son (13 years old)had a NCV today and it was not a pleasant experience. He was supposed to have a EMG as well but they said they didn't need to do it. Thank Goodness!! The doctor told me that the test show he has CMT1. He showed me the report but I didn't get a copy, I will get one when we go back to the neurologist. In his hands the numbers were all around 9.9 ms he said normal was around 50. In his legs it was around 14.4 ms and he said normal was about 40. This seems pretty bad to me. Can anyone tell me what this means.
