My Grandma once commented about me being born in the middle of General Hospital and being thankful that the hospital at least had a tv in the waiting room so she didn't miss it. I don't remember them not being on daily in our house, so I guess when I grew up I just carried on the tradition. Now my daughter is watching them with me.
