is there anything out there in terms of indications on getting it here??asking as the replies I received from these companies a while backsounded quite hopeless in terms of EU legalities on perishable goodsetc. one reply hinted at possibility of importing it privately, but thencourier delivery costs would probably be prohibitive so didn't lookfurther into it...

>>Now I was watching Location Location last week and it featured a guy with 6 camels, they use them for trekking. Maybe contact Channel 4 and see he wants to sell some milk?????

Pity I can't remember which part of the country they were in

Hi Sandy, this is impossible to get hold of in Europe at present but

just in case you know anyone who flies to Africa or Middle East...

there is a company in Kenya doing a small-scale study with autistic

kids, they are very keen but also unable to export.

Hi Natasa,

Was it you who posted about camel milk a few months back? I remember

having a read about it and it looks really fabulous. Fingfers-crossed

I think we might be able to get it here soon if interest continues.

Best wishes,

Sandy

Hi Natasa,

Just me being optimistic ... there seemed to be such positive reports

about it and word is spreading. Also seeing a lot of people moving

away from regular cow's milk - our waitrose stocks goat, jersey cow,

and buffalo milk ... so maybe camel is next :-)!

Best wishes,

Sandy

if it is them, they seem to be located in Warwickshire, this is the

company:

http://www.jacamels.co.uk/pages/all-occasions.html

one question would be the difference in diet of these camels compared to

the 'wildlife' ones in deserts, and if/how it would affect the

properties of their milk...
